Golden hour wheat field family shoot
I started scouting for this location back in July. I'm fortunate to live in a semi rural town of Yateley in Hampshire and we have some stunning common land and meadows just a stones throw away. However, I really wanted to find a wheat field for some stunning golden hour shoots. There are so many beautiful wheat fields around my area of Hampshire, but none which would A. have public access so I can shoot or B. have some where to park (I don't want clients with small children walking along roads to get to shoot locations).
With a detective level of investigation, using combination of OS maps and Google satellite images, I finally came across the most perfect field just outside a nearby Hampshire village.
eIt was late August when we decided to book this shoot in. The weather had finally sorted itself out and we were starting to get some lovely evenings back again. The family really wanted a golden hour shoot and so we decided to aim for around 6:30pm. Their little girl had fallen asleep on the way so she started off a little shy. However once she saw the wheat field and we started playing, she was having a great time and we got some stunning shots.
